Beyond our Galaxy is…
I have always been inspired by listening to music and have made attempts at making music by collaborating with others and on my own for at least the last 20+ years.

Currently, I work as a contract consultant, and have spent a lot of time travelling. Many of these songs were composed either in hotels or airports.

My Musical Influences…
In the early 80’s my friends and I started listening to a lot of the early synthesizer pioneers like Tangerine Dream, Kitaro and Jarre. We also indulged in many of the 80’s pop synth artists like Gary Numan, Thomas Dolby, Ultravox, etc. After some of us purchased some synthesizers, we tried our hand at composing music like our influences, although it never sounded that great.

Within the last few years, my interests have delved deeper into electronic music and discovered both older and newer artists that have fed my artistic and creative juices. Brian Eno and Harold Budd are some of my favorite ambient pioneers, and probably biggest influences. Another artist that I have started listening to is Klaus Shulze who is the ‘godfather’ of modern electronic music and his works span over 30+ years. Recent influences I have discovered include Steve Roach, Robert Rich and Ian Boddy. All of these artists explore many musical worlds with their compositions and I highly recommend them.

My Artistic Inspirations…
Obviously I am inspired by the wonders of Creation – the universe all around us. The universe is amazing, and when I look at pictures taken by the Hubble or by the various space probes, I look at them with a sense of awe and fascination. God has truly created an amazing wealth of beauty both on earth and in the vastness of space.

For as long as I can remember I have always loved reading and learning about space and the universe around us. The space program was the earliest source of interest. Also – reading and watching science fiction has been a hobby of mine that continues to this day.

Most of my compositions are written with exploration of the universe in mind. While I work on these musical pieces, I envision an explorer on a starship witnessing or experiencing many of the wonders of this huge frontier firsthand….
